Russia warns Trump: US strikes on Iran have opened a ‘Pandora’s box’ and…

In a rare joint warning, Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), confirmed the extensive damage likely caused by the strikes. “Given the explosive payload utilized and the vibration-sensitive nature of the centrifuges, significant structural damage is expected at the Fordow site,” Grossi said Monday.

At Isfahan, he reported, additional buildings linked to the uranium conversion process were destroyed, including tunnel entrances used for storing enriched materials. In Natanz, ground-penetrating bombs hit the Fuel Enrichment Plant directly.

Despite the severity of the strikes, Iran told the IAEA there were no recorded increases in radiation levels around the affected facilities.

Meanwhile, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov reiterated Moscow’s support for Tehran, calling the partnership “unbreakable.” In comments to TASS, he said Iran had the legal right to defend itself and criticized Washington’s “language of ultimatums.”

With tensions mounting, the international community faces renewed calls to de-escalate and return to diplomatic channels. Yet as U.S. forces remain on high alert across the Middle East and Iran vows retaliation, the threat of wider regional war—and its nuclear implications—looms ever larger.
