A Texas man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison after brutally assaulting a pregnant woman inside his RV, an attack prosecutors described as sadistic and calculated.
According to the Brazos County District Attorney’s Office, 35-year-old Andrew Gutierrez was convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection with the January 2024 attack, during which he beat the expectant mother unconscious and threatened to kill her unborn child.
The DA’s office said Gutierrez locked the woman inside his RV in Bryan, Texas — roughly 100 miles east of Austin — and chillingly told her, “Welcome to Hell House,” before launching into a violent, sustained assault.
The victim, who was 11 weeks pregnant at the time, was found severely injured after police responded to a disconnected 911 call from the residence. Upon arrival, officers discovered the woman in dire condition, requiring immediate medical assistance. Paramedics documented extensive bruising and swelling to her face, chest, and abdomen — clear indicators of a prolonged and brutal beating.
In her statement to police, the woman described how an argument with Gutierrez escalated into horror. He locked her in the RV and declared his sinister welcome, then grabbed her by the hair and began repeatedly punching her in the face and stomach.
