Iran Launches Missiles Toward US Bases in Qatar and Iraq

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated in a national address, “We did not start this war and we do not seek conflict, but we will not leave any attack on Iran unanswered. We will stand by the security of this beloved nation and respond to every wound on Iran’s body with faith, wisdom, and determination.”

The growing conflict has drawn international concern, especially among global powers with vested interests in the region. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov emphasized Moscow’s unwavering support for Tehran, stating, “Our strategic partnership with Iran is unbreakable.”

Speaking to reporters in Moscow, Ryabkov insisted that Iran’s retaliatory action was justified under international law. “Iran is acting within its right to self-defense. This is a legitimate and correct response,” he said, adding that details of any military cooperation between the two nations remain confidential.

Russian President Vladimir Putin also met with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi earlier today, reaffirming the Kremlin’s backing of Iran amid increasing US pressure. Putin criticized the American approach, stating, “They are trying to deal with Iran in the language of ultimatums, but that language is not accepted in Tehran or in other capitals.”

Ryabkov echoed that sentiment, warning that, “We need to stop the escalatory actions and change the rhetoric. Only then will there be a chance for a political resolution.”

As of now, no American casualties have been reported, but emergency alerts have been activated across US installations in the region. Missile defense systems are fully engaged, and aircraft have been put on high readiness status. The next 24 hours are expected to be critical in determining whether this conflict continues to spiral into a broader regional war.
